I have been creating restraints in a variety of ways for over 10 years. I fell into this work because I couldn't find anything that fit my particular interests. I felt I was always compromising between weight, quality, and inescapability.

When I come up with a restraint idea in my head my hands just seem to know how to work the raw steel into a restraint that feels like "yeah, that’s the one I wanted". It is really interesting to watch how the steel reacts throughout the construction and to be able to manipulate the steel to do what I want it to do..

I really look forward each day going to the shop and seeing what new and interesting items I can come up with. I like the challenge of the custom work and I think that this is where I excel and my true craftsmanship shines through. Hopefully I can look forward to putting some of my experience towards making you a restraint or two.
