Fisherman’s Knot
A fisherman’s knot is used to semi-permanently join the ends of two ropes together.
Pros: Creates a good strong connection between two ropes of approximately the same diameter.
Cons (…or possibly Pros in this case…:) It will bind (be very difficult to undo), but that is kind of the point, so no worries.
For this tutorial, I used two 30′ (~9m) piece of Natural and Blue 6mm provided by my affiliate Twisted Monk.
