This course is not really about any one specific pattern for creating a bra. It teaches several concepts that you can mix and match to make whatever inspires you. Making a rope bra is nothing more than Creating a frame around your partner’s chest and Filling in parts of that frame with some sort of weave or pattern. There are myriad ways to do this. This course will show you a few common choices and give you tips to inspire your own creativity! If you understand these ideas, you can also better understand how to reverse-engineer what other artists have done and replicate or evolve from there! This course will show you how to make several bras. If you want more, these tutorials refer to the content of this course and provide additional examples & inspiration. What you'll learn

  • Establish a chest harness you already know as the foundation frame for a rope bra
  • Construct custom frames from Lower, Upper, Inner, and Outer lines (LI, LIO, LIpU, LU, LUI, LUIO)
  • Tie core weaving fills including the Figure-8 Weave in double and single strand, the Twisted-8 Weave, and the Herringbone pattern
  • Apply a Cow Hitch to lock loose weaves so your fills stay neat and secure
  • Combine frames and fills to recreate worked examples like the LIO Demi-Cup, Sunset Harness, and Twisted-8 Tube Top
  • Plan and design your own rope bra patterns with clear consent and communication between partners
