Pride Bunny

Blue and I went to San Fransisco Pride in 2024. We wandered around pride and did street rope, meeting interesting people and getting some fun, lovely shots! Here are the other two that we did:
- Bolero Box Tie by the Supreme Court Building – Includes detail on the corset she wore all day
- A strappado to a street post
The richly colored rainbow hemp we were privileged to feature was supplied by our affiliate Twisted Monk!

- I dressed Blue in a Continuous Reverse Corset in the morning and she wore it all day. For more detail on how this corset was done, see the companion CAS: Bolero Box Tie at Pride.
- I then tied her into a Bunny Tie. For this version, I tied her wrists together with a Fast Load-bearing Double Column, a little looser than normal so that things wouldn’t be too tight with her hands behind her head.
- I then repositioned her hands behind her head, then ran the tail down to and under the upper few lines of the corset.
- I pulled the lines tight to keep her arms in position then reversed tension so the lines would head back upward. I then separated the lines of the tail so that I had one for each side.
- On each side I took a single strand and ran it up to create a double column connecting the forearm to the upper arm. We did not get a shot showing the detail of how that was done, but here is what I did:
- I ran the line up to position, then around the folded arm.
- When I got back to the starting point, I ran the tail under itself, then reversed tension to complete the first wrap.
- I then wrapped the rope around the folded arm until I was almost out of rope (two more times in this case).
- I then ran the tail under the reverse tension (5b), then reversed tension again so that the tail “hooked” that initial reverse to add to the friction in that node.
- I then did an initial lock off with a Half Hitch.
- With the remaining tail, I added a cinch around all the strands to convert it from a single column to a double column, then locked it off with an additional Half Hitch.
