Gift Wrapping Yourself 1

Gift-Wrapping-Yourself

For some of us, there is nothing so powerful as the gift of a partner that wants us–and wants us to take control of them.

There are thousands of ways that you can show this, but one way that can be a lot of fun around gift-giving holidays and birthdays is to wrap yourself up as a gift.

Below I am going to show one way of doing this, adding layer after layer of easy bondage techniques that many people can self-tie.  Every layer works independently, so every layer is optional.  If a given layer doesn’t appeal to you, don’t do it!  Make your gift your own  😉

I also provide many variations that could be used as alternatives for each layer if you prefer a different look or if you want more challenge  😉

Enjoy!

A word about safety:  Always play safe.  Always make sure that your partner knows to check on you.  “Give me 30 minutes, then come find me in the bedroom, my love. I am going to be helpless and in need of your attention” … or something to that effect can be both alluring and a safety feature.  Never tie yourself up in a way that you cannot escape.  What if your partner is a first-line worker and gets an emergency call and has to leave immediately?  What if your partner’s blood sugar goes low and they pass out?  What if they have a heart attack or stroke?  Never make yourself fully helpless.

What I show below does not make you helpless–you can easily reverse the process on your own–but when your partner joins you, they can finish tying you up into a neat package with just one knot!  A nice balance.

For this tie, I used one 30′ (~10m), two 15′ (~5m) and four 10′ (~3m) pieces of Natural 6mm (1/4″) hemp provided by my affiliate Twisted Monk.  Check them out for some amazing hemp rope!

Gift-Wrap-Harness

A  chest harness gives your partner something to hold on to, providing a great deal of control of your body position.

The Star (Pentagram) Harness is one attractive choice that is relatively easy to self-tie.  You do need a bit of flexibility, but less than you might think.

Note: I did a weave on the back to use up the extra rope.  That is very difficult to do on your own.  It is perfectly fine to just wrap the end of your rope around one of the lines, or to run it back to the front around your lower chest and tie it off in the front if you have enough rope.  Just do what works for you!

This isn’t the only option that would work will for this layer.  Here are a few other ideas!
Some of these are more advanced than others for those of you who want a greater challenge!

Gift-Wrap-Waist

A  waist harness also gives your partner something to hold on to, providing more control of your body position.  Depending on what you choose, it can also be a bit of extra teasing for you!   The horrifically named Crotch Rope is easy to self-tie and provide simple attractive lines.

Note:  It is also perfectly fine to use up your rope by just wrapping the ends of your rope around the back of the waist band…  That said, I used a Cored Square Knot to use up my rope.  (It is not shown here, but you can see it in the Artist’s Corner, below.)  It takes a bit of practice to learn how to tie the CSK by touch alone, but it is possible.

This isn’t the only option that would work will for this layer.  Here are a few other ideas!

Gift-Wrap-Collar

For some, it just isn’t satisfying without a collar.  You can add a collar using rope with a simple Lark’s Head Single Column or Leash.

Important Safety Information:

  • Don’t make this tight, or even snug.  You should be able to comfortably get four (4) fingers under the rope collar.
  • Don’t attach this to anything in any way that will cause it to put pressure on your neck when you are in your relaxes/stasis position.  If you are planning to be sitting, laying or kneeling, the rope should not be putting pressure on your neck in that position.
Gift-Wrap-Shoe

If your partner loves heels, add them!

It can also be fun to tie them on!  I am showing the Top-Weave approach here, but the Stirrup version is great choice, too!

Gift-Wrap-Frog-Tie

If you want to enhance your helplessness or accent your legs, add rope!

Here I am adding the Frog Tie, a simple application of a Double Column that enforces a kneeling position.

You could also choose a Futomomo option (links below) for greater decoration (but if you do you need to be kneeling on something very soft or the ropes will dig into your shins … or lay on your back instead).

If you prefer to stand or be able to walk, consider one of the Thigh-high options below.

This isn’t the only option that would work will for this layer.  Here are a few other ideas!

Gift-Wrap-Wrists

Now to wrap everything up!

Add your preferred Single Column to each wrist.

Here I have used Lark’s Head Single Column as I like how they look.

Then…

Gift-Wrap-Presentation

…Figure out a way to run the tails in such a way that, when tied off, you are a neat bundle of helpless wriggling…

Here she crosses her wrists in front of her and then tosses the tails behind her back and grabs them with her opposite hand.  When her partner arrives, they can take the ends from her hands and tie them off with a Square Knot or Surgeon’s Knot behind her back, and with that single act she is now nicely tied up!

Alternatively…

  • …the tails could be run under the butt cheeks and up through the legs.
  • …the arms could be put behind the back and the Square Knot tied in the front.
  • many other variants

So here is the completed “Gift Wrapping” … this version at least!  I have added the collar back in to complete the look.
(If you want to see how this might look without some of the layers, check out the “Variations” section below.)
