You have been given a gift or discount code to TheDuchy. Let’s get you started!
If you were given a choice of levels, I recommend the BTS level as it includes access to our Discord channel and join our supportive community!
1. If you were given a full URL, go to the accordion below for instructions on how to use it.
If you were given a gift code only, go to the Membership Levels page and click the Select button for the level you were gifted:
❶ for the Tutorials level
❷ for the BTS (“Behind the Scene”) level
2. You will be brought to a screen where you will need to click this link ❶
3. Enter your gift code and click Apply.
4. It will then validate your Discount Code.
5. Enter the requested information so we can create your account.
6. You will need to enter a credit card as well to demonstrate that you are of legal age. It will not be charged unless you continue your membership after the end of the Discount Code.
7. Confirm you understand the rules and your legal limitations and responsibilities.
❶ Read the T&Cs, then confirm by checking the box
❷ Click the Submit button
“Processing…” will appear
8. You will be taken to a confirmation screen.
9. Before you can access the members-only content, you will need to validate your email account. A confirmation email will be sent to you. You will need to click the verification link ❶
Sometimes the system will also generate an email that looks like this. This is generated by my security software, not the membership software. You can ignore this message until you have clicked the confirmation link in the message above; that usually acts as confirmation for both.
Once you have clicked the verification link, you should be able to log in and access member content.
If you are new to rope, I highly recommend that you start with the Rope 101 course!

1. Go to your Membership Account page
2. Your gift codes will be listed in the Gift Code section ❶
Unclaimed gift codes will still have a link
Claimed codes will no longer have a link and will list the name of the person that claimed them
3. Right Click on an unclaimed code ❶, and copy the URL ❷
4. Give that URL to your lucky friend.
