Bamboo Bondage Frames

Here are several bamboo bondage frames that you can make by Lashing 2 or 3 bamboo poles together … and a few fun ideas of things you can do with your partner using a frame!

Word of warning: the positions shown in several of these examples can be physically very challenging. Never leave a bound person alone. Always maintain clear communication and monitor your partner’s health. Always play with Safety as your highest priority.

Note: If you see a reference in square brackets like this [SC ②], it refers to one of the techniques shown on the Bamboo Bondage - Attaching page.

In a number of cases, I “use up” the extra rope just by wrapping in around a pole or weaving it into a junction into a type of Lashing style. I don’t go into detail on that in the below.

To make any of the bamboo bondage frames you should already know the following ties:

Prerequisites

Triangle Frame

For this one I used a tight Square Lashing for all three junctions. You don’t want the junctions too close to the ends of they can potentially be worked loose, but I like to leave a bit of additional space at the ends for another reason, which you will see in the usage ideas below

Triangle Frame - Example 1

Legs spread and ankles secured outside the frame, head held high and away from ankles, hands bound together and lashed to center pole

  1. Ankles are secured with an [SC ①] or [SC ②]
  2. Neck is positioned above the junction, preventing relaxation and is secured in place with [J ②]
  3. Wrists are secured to center of lower bar using [DC ③]

Triangle Frame - Example 2

Legs spread and ankles secured outside the frame, head held, body bent, hands bound together and lashed to center pole

  1. Ankles are secured with an [SC ①] or [SC ②]
  2. Neck is positioned below the junction, bending your partner forward and is secured in place with [J ②]
  3. Wrists are secured to center of lower bar using [DC ③]

Triangle Frame - Example 3

Legs spread and ankles secured outside the frame, head held high and away from ankles, a cuff around each wrist, which is then bound to the junction near the ankles.

  1. Ankles are secured with an [SC ①] or [SC ②]
  2. Neck is positioned above the junction, preventing relaxation and is secured in place with [J ②]
  3. Wrists are secured with a Single Column Tie, which is secured to the lashings on the lower bar

A-Frame

Very similar to the Triangle Frame, the cross bar is just a bit higher and offers a few other fun positions. I created this with a Shear Lashing at the top and Square Lashings on the cross bar.

A-Frame - Example

  1. Ankles are secured with an [SC ①] or [SC ②]
  2. Neck is positioned above the junction, preventing relaxation and is secured in place with [J ②]
  3. Wrists are secured with a Single Column tie. The tail of that SC is run down to the cross bar on the outside of the upright bars, holding the wrists down by the thighs, and then up and over the knees and then around the cross bar again, thereby attaching the knees to the crossbar and upright bars as well. The knot is on the inside of the knees … so your partner can stare at it, but cannot reach it to get free 😉

T-Frame

The cross bar is attached to the upright using a Square Lashings.

A T-Frame can be used horizontally or with the top affixed to an overhead point. I attached the top of this pole using a Klemheist Hitch

T-Frame Example

There are many things that can be done with a T-Frame, this one leverages the Takezao Elbow Lock and other Attachments, including the Triple Column Tie

1. Much fun can be had by adding nothing more than the Takezao Elbow Lock
2. Note that you normally want to attach your partner to the same side as the cross bar. Very few people are flexible enough to handle this tie if the cross bar is on the opposite side of the upright
3. But there is much more we can add
4. For example you could have also added a chest harness and then attach that harness to the T-Frame. (Obviously, I have not done so here. Just mentioning another fun idea.)
5. But we can make this significantly more restrictive by tying the ankle to the upright using a Triple Column. I like the Triple Column [TC ①] approach because it can be made less restrictive, allowing your partner a bit of room to adjust their footing, but not so much that they can wriggle free
6. You can up the game with another Triple Column at the knees or thighs
7. Because you don’t want the TC too tight, it will have a tendency to follow the force of gravity and slide off. There are many ways to keep this in place, but one simple approach is to connect it to something above to hold it up …
8. … in this case, I just ran the tail upward…
9. … and tied it to a line coming out of the elbow tie.
10. I didn’t do this in this example, but you could leash your partner to the upright with a rope collar, using a [SC ⑥] or [SC ⑦] approach.
11. But many people stay totally away from any sort of tie involving the neck. So a fun alternative that still really amps up your partner’s feelings of helplessness is to do the same thing, but run the rope through their open mouth instead of around their neck
12. Like this!
13. This act like a cleave gag …
14. … and holds their head to the frame at the same time!
15. Some wonderful thrashing and sounds can be had from a setup like this 😉
16. Here is our full example tie in all its glory!
