About the program
TheDuchy is trusted world-wide for shibari and rope bondage education. People write to us all the time to share how important what they learned here has been to them and that they refer people to us all the time. We wanted to find a tangible way to thank and reward them!

This program will allow you to:
- Earn 30–50% commissions on every signup
- Get paid every month when your referrals renew
- Monetize your platform with no extra work
- Share trusted rope education with your community
- Support Lazarus & Blue in growing The Duchy
When a person registers using your affiliate link, você will get a commission of 30% of what they paid* … not just for that first month, but every month for as long as they remain a member!
That’s right:
You earn 30% of what your referrals pay, for as long as they stay a member of TheDuchy.
But you can earn even more! **
- Get 10 novo referrals in a given calendar month and your commission will be 35% that month!
- Get 20 novo referrals in a given calendar month and your commission will be 40% that month!
- Get 30 novo referrals in a given calendar month and your commission will be 45% that month!
- Get 40 novo referrals in a given calendar month and your commission will be 50% that month!
We have not set any upper limit for how much you can earn in this program. It is our sincere hope that many people end up earning a lot!
* To keep everything fair and secure, we hold new referral payments for 37 days (just in case of cancellations). See Other Important Information > Counter fraud for more.
** We are testing these numbers and thresholds as we launch this program. They are subject to change as we gain experience.
You earn money every month for every one of your referrals, for as along as they remain a member of TheDuchy.
The base rate is 30%, but you can earn higher percentages in a given month by signing up new referrals that month. More on that in a moment. For now, let’s just look at the earning potential at 30%.

Obviously, you will have a mix of different levels and your actual commission will reflect that mix.
As an Affiliate, you will get your own dashboard to track signups and earnings — along with tools to make sharing easy!
But you can earn more!
By signing new members during a given calendar month, you can earn a higher percentage of todos your referrals (not just the new ones) during that month. The more new referrals sign up, the higher your percentage, up to 50%! Let’s look at how the numbers play out:

This program is intended for kink creators, educators, influencers, & those that run kink groups or spaces, people that work with lots of other people. See the Perguntas frequentes for details. - Have a PayPal account set up to receive payments. (We hope to add more payment options in the future.)

- We will review your application.
- Once approved, go to the Affiliate Portal.
- Once there, Click on Affiliate URLs to get your QR Code, main URL or to generate a custom URL to send people to a particular course or tutorial.
- Share your affiliate link with your community, your website, email list, on FetLife, submit.gg, Instagram, TikTok and wherever else your people can be found!
(Be sure to keep things positive and in alignment with the Termos e condições.) - If people sign up using your code, you get paid!
Once approved, you’ll unlock powerful tools to maximize your earnings — including custom links with campaign tracking so you can see what works best.
- A general QR code to promote The Duchy,
- A default referral URL to share in bios and blogs,
- A custom link generator to promote specific tutorials — complete with optional campaign names for performance tracking

You can use TinyURL ou um QR code generator to make it easier to share your affiliate links.
Be creative and/or useful – do things that will make people want to support you and your work – then tell them how to support you!
- Social media
- Create educational content that people will want to save and reference
- Create humor content that people will want to share
- Create content to broaden people’s mind and inspire them to share
- Videos are especially powerful on social media
- Teach in-person classes
- Use TheDuchy as a reference so that your students have ready-made class notes.
- Use one of our pre-created class outlines or take inspiration from the live classes we teach.
- Groups
- Provide a space – virtual or physical – where people can learn, practice, ask questions and share their work. Post your QR code in a prominent place.
- Online groups, munches and other get-togethers, kink spaces, public or private dungeons, rope dojos, etc.
- Other ideas?
Where there may be people interested in rope, include your QR Code or an appropriate Affiliate link and make sure they know that, by signing up, they are supporting you!
Be transparent and honest!
If you are posting publicly, be sure to include a short disclosure like:
- ‘By signing up through this link, you are helping to support me. I earn a commission when you sign up, and each month you renew.’
- ‘I earn a small commission if you join through this link.’
Also: Keep producing!
- Remember that you continue to be paid for as long as your referral remains a member of TheDuchy. Keep doing what you are doing so they continue to support you.
- ALSO! Remember that if you get past a threshold in a given calendar month, you can earn higher total percentages!
Groups or individuals outside of the US:
Affiliates outside the U.S.: We welcome international affiliates! At the moment we only have one means of making payouts, via PayPal. So if you have a PayPal account, we can work with you no matter your location.
In the future, we plan to add more payout options to better serve our global community. We’ll announce new methods as they become available.
Counter fraud
We run this program in good faith and are excited to support affiliates who help others find quality rope education. But like any online program, we have to take steps to prevent abuse. To protect everyone involved, our program includes safeguards like:
- No self-referrals — you cannot earn commission for signing yourself up,
- 37-day hold on new referral payouts (to cover cancelations/refunds),
- Payments only through trackable channels (currently PayPal — no crypto, gift cards, or cash apps),
- We reserve the right to remove affiliates attempting fraud or abuse, with no warning,
- These policies exist to keep things fair and sustainable for everyone in our community.
What are your approval criteria for joining the program?
There are several things we look for:
- Do you serve a community? Do you have a broader reach?
- At the moment, we are focusing on affiliates that are more likely to bring many referrals. See ‘overhead’ for more details
- Are your values in alignment with ours?
- We prioritize affiliates whose values align with The Duchy’s — including a strong emphasis on informed consent, risk-aware education, and inclusive, ethical kink practices. If your work helps others learn and grow safely, we’d love to hear from you.
- Other
- There may be other factors we consider as well. Approval is at our sole discretion.
Can I join the Affiliate program as an individual that might make a few referrals, but not many?
During these initial stages during the growing pains that always accompany the beginning of a new program, no, but hopefully soon.

Why are you currently limiting the program to people/groups/organizations with larger reach?
Affiliate programs like this require a great deal of administrative overhead. (For example, if a US citizen or organization reaches a certain threshold — currently $600 in a single year — we must prepare and send them a 1099-NEC in January in preparation for tax season.)
Additionally, all new programs inevitably experience issues. As people begin to register and use the program, we will discover that some element or other is not working as intended and we will have to fix it. We will need to develop procedures for dealing with all the common questions, flesh out the FAQ and more.
These things will consume time — a commodity that we have very little of right now — so we need to control the amount of time consumed by this new program. We are therefore currently focusing on a smaller number of affiliates at first. After we get more of the program automated, we plan to open the program up more broadly.
